proは「前へ」（＝forth）という意味を持ちます。fuseには「注ぐ」（＝pour）という意味がある。
fuse。カタカナ語にもなっている「ヒューズ」のことです。ヒューズとは、電気回路に過大な電流が流れた時、発生する熱が溶けて回路を遮断する金属線のことです。
このfuseにも「流れる」（＝pour）の意味合いがあるということです。
